Freddy's Bar (627 5th Ave.) will be hosting its 4th annual doggy fashion show this Saturday, July 15, from 5 to 9pm on 5th Ave. between 17th and 18th streets. The streets will be closed (to cars) for the momentous occasion. The show will feature a red-carpet entrance for the puppers, "free doggy swag" and an onsite animal adoption center. The whole shebang is free to enter, and if you have a Beer Book, your Freddy's Bar coupon will also entitle you to one free beer.
The most fabulous Fidos will win prizes and, according to Freddy's co-owner Donald O'Finn, "This year we'll have an even higher stage to provide more space and superior pooch visibility plus a better sound system so no dog goes unheard."
