It seems like you can get almost anything without leaving the borough, especially festivals. We got concerts, food, film, and art. And it’s Brooklyn, so of course we got jokes. This year, said jokes will be organized into a weekend-long festival under the appropriate header, “Brooklyn Comedy Festival.” It’s the only one there is. Going down for the week of August 19-24, the festival is set to showcase all kinds of yuks from sketch comedy to stand-up to improv.
